“Adventures with Horses”! This was the presentation topic that John Voehl, Lincoln historian extraordinaire, shared with our residents this month! Each time he presents here, it’s a special day we look forward to, and he comes prepared with a topic we haven’t heard before! It’s amazing how many stories from Abe Lincoln’s life had to do with horses…and the window these anecdotes provide into Lincoln’s character and personality.
